Messages and presence

Chat may show a user as active or display a recent last-seen time. Presence is approximate: browser power saving, connection changes, background tabs, and delayed updates can affect it. Do not treat presence as proof that a message was read.

Keep communication safe

• Do not share passwords, one-time codes, banking credentials, or government identification.
• Be cautious about moving immediately to another app.
• Block and report abusive or suspicious users from chat.
