Know what can be listed and how sellers must describe it.

Your listing must be truthful
- Describe the actual item, its condition, price, and location accurately.
- Do not use bait pricing, fake discounts, misleading claims, or photos that conceal material defects.
- Do not post the same item repeatedly to manipulate results.
Prohibited content
Do not list illegal goods or services, stolen property, counterfeit goods, weapons or regulated items offered contrary to law, recalled products, unsafe goods, personal data, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Additional category restrictions may apply.
Canadian obligations
You are responsible for complying with federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal laws that apply to your item and transaction, including taxes, licences, product safety, and consumer protection requirements where applicable.
