Delete your SellUp account and data

Use SellUp’s self-service deletion process or request help when you cannot sign in.

Delete while signed in

  • Open your account menu and choose Settings.
  • Open Edit profile, or go directly to /editProfile/info.
  • Find “Delete this account” and expand it.
  • Type DELETE in the confirmation field, then choose Delete account.

What deletion does

The self-service process permanently deletes the active SellUp user record and associated profile, listings, favourites, and chat data covered by the account relationship. This action cannot be undone.

Limited information may remain when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, fraud and abuse prevention, security, disputes, enforcement, or temporary backup roll-off.

Google or Facebook users

Removing SellUp from Google or Facebook does not by itself delete the SellUp account. Use the SellUp deletion steps above. Likewise, deleting SellUp does not delete your Google or Facebook account.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@sellup.ca from the address connected to the account with the subject “SellUp account deletion request.” We will verify account ownership before acting. Do not send your password, verification code, full payment-card details, or unnecessary identification.
